The East of England is home to a large number of golf courses, football pitches, cricket pitches, and numerous other professional and amenity sports facilities.
A lot of work has already been done in proving the benefits of applying high value composted products as a top dressing to sports turf surfaces, however much more work is needed to develop this potentially large market and demonstrate these benefits to a wider audience.
The Remade East project is working to increase the demand for higher value composted products by developing the end markets for Sports Turf Top Dressing in the East of England.
Encouraging through our projects greater communication between compost manufacturers and topsoil users. The aim of this work is to ensure continuity in the quality and supply of composted products.
