Cropco Ltd Company Profile
Cropco Ltd was founded in 2004, by owner and Managing Director John Poulton, specialise in selling seeds, fertilisers and pesticides to farmer customers throughout the southern half of East Anglia. From its base between the market towns of Halstead and Sudbury Cropco provides a same day and next day delivery service seven days a week.
Cropco's motivation is to combine best advice, best service and best products and value for money, with a belief in responding to customer needs efficiently and effectively.
Cropco entered the recycling industry after spotting an opportunity created by recent changes in legislation, which brought farms under the waste licensing regime for the first time. Cropco determined that an agricultural waste collection service would compliment its existing business and provide effective waste solutions for its customers.
Cropco undertook research which determined that an opportunity existed to purchase a franchise from Agri-cycle a national network of Franchises set up to provide local collection hubs for farm plastics.
