About Remade East
The aim of the Remade East initiative is to co-ordinate regional recyclables market development activities.
Mission
To increase material resource efficiency through the development of strong, entrepreneurial supply chains and regional markets for recycled materials.
Objective
To work in partnership with companies and organisations in the region to stimulate a dynamic recycling and waste industry supply chain.
To add value to the material we need to ensure efficiency in the supply chain. Working with and linking organisations and businesses that collect, store, treat waste (or recycle) and dispose of waste material.
To achieve this objective Remade East have developed the following support activities:
- Remade Recycling Directory: The regions waste and recycling database
- Business Support Unit: Tailored business advice and guidance
- Demonstration & Research: research, case studies, procurement
- Sector Skills Development: To support the training and skills needs of a vibrant sector.
